This is a warning that comes from Jessica Wayman, an Indiana mother who went on Facebook to post something in an effort to educate her family and friends. She is a mother of a young child and she needs to have her child out in public, running errands and doing things to keep up on the household. Like many people, she finds that there are times when she needs to change her baby’s diaper and one of the most common ways to do so is to use a changing table in a public restroom.
What Jessica had to say, however, is enough to chill any parent to the bone. Those plastic tables are not just used for changing diapers, drug users who are in need of a quick fix also use them on a regular basis as well. She even took a picture and posted it on Facebook and since Sunday, it has been shared more than 114,000 times! It just shows that if you aren’t taking the proper hygienic steps, you’re really putting your baby in danger.
Jessica posted the picture but after it went viral, she decided to make an edit to give additional insight into the issue. She said that she understands the problem because she is also a recovering drug addict. It’s a brave thing for any mother to admit and it also makes the post more legitimate.
