Have you ever been so desperate and you had no idea what to do to change your situation? Many parents have felt that way, especially when they are dealing with a new baby that just can’t be consoled. That was what Abigail Riviera Garcia experienced. She is a proud mother of two children and she does her best to try to keep Jeremiah her son and her baby girl, Anayah as happy as possible. Unfortunately, Anayah began experiencing separation anxiety and it seemed as if there was no hope in sight.
Abigail was very frustrated and extremely exhausted. Her daughter simply wouldn’t leave her arms and she was suffering from severe sleep deprivation. Out of the blue, she got a little tip that seemed to change her entire universe for the better. It did such a good job at helping to calm her daughter that she is now sharing it online with others. If you could use a little bit of sleep and perhaps a little help with your baby, this tip is going to change your universe as well.
Abigail was surfing the Internet when she came across this little tidbit of information. She knew that it sounded strange but by this point, she was willing to try anything. She tested the trick a few times and then she went on Facebook to share her success story. If it worked for her fussy baby, it could work for any baby!

“My daughter’s name is Anayah and she’s two months old. She was also born 7 weeks before her due date as a preemie baby.
I have a 16-month-old boy who was also a preemie named Jeremiah. My daughter has colic/reflux, so she has been super cranky and constantly wants to be held.
It got to the point where I couldn’t put her down for more than 10 minutes without her crying.
I saw this great hack and it’s the BEST THING I’VE DONE YET!”
“She forever wants to be held and now I get my break. It’s just rice in a glove and let me tell you it works! I had seen something similar on Pinterest.
So, when I remembered my mom had gloves in her cabinet I went and grabbed a glove and poured some rice into the glove, packing it tightly. The moment I laid her down and placed the glove on her back, she stopped crying which was such a relief!
Of course, everyone has their own opinion on this hack. Some like it and some don’t but every mother knows their child. My daughter loves it and is doing just fine. I had to post it because I know how hard it is to not have a break and if I can help a mom out, I definitely will!
Note: My baby never sleeps with all the blankets around her or near this window; she has a crib for that. This was just a quick picture and she was being monitored the whole time.”
It may seem like a simple solution but it worked very well. Anayah is now a calm little baby and the Internet has scored another win. Abigail was also getting the sleep that she needed.
